The manuscript for Rural Antisemitism and Rural in Northwest German will be delivered to Bloomsbury in 2025. Completion has been delayed by a last necessary trip to the German archives.
When my advisee, Mark Sadler, decided that he wanted to write his senior thesis on the Stab-in-the-Back Myth, he was disappointed to have found only one English language source (an excellent web site that Harold Marcuse created to accompany his review of Boris Barth's habilitationschrift, Dolchstoßlegenden).
I wrote "Peasants and Politics: How GIS Offers New Insights into the German Countryside,” for the Routledge Handbook of Spatial History specifically lay out how my GIS of the Prussian province of Hanover and the Grand Duchy of Oldenburg was created.
